Feeling of charity : Saina Nehwal To Donate Rs 6 Lakh To CRPF Families Killed In Sukma

Saina Nehwal, who turned 27 on Friday, said she is pained by what happened last week and this is a small contribution to the families who have suffered irreparable loss.

London Olympics bronze medallist Saina Nehwal has decided to donate Rs six lakhs -- Rs 50,000 each -- to the families of the 12 Central Reserve Police Force jawans killed in an encounter in Chhattisgarh last week.
Saina, who turned 27 on Friday, said she is pained by what happened last week and this is a small contribution to the families who have suffered irreparable loss.
"My heart goes out to our soldiers who put their lives at risk to keep us safe. I can't bring those soldiers back who lost their lives in Chhattisgarh but in my small way I want to donate this six lakhs for those families," Saina said.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also donated Rs 1.08 crore to the families of the 12 CRPF soldiers killed in Sukma encounter on Thursday.
The 219 battalion's CRPF soldiers were ambushed by Naxalites in Bhejji when the troops were guarding a road being built between the village and Injeram on National Highway-30.
The militants had used locally-made mortars, tiffin bombs and arrows with explosives attached to their heads. The Chhattisgarh Police had said the Naxalite attack was planned and executed with "deadly accuracy".

WILL KOHLI PLAY TEST MATCH AGAINST AUSTRALIA

Virat Kohli laughed and chatted with teammates, stood with them in a huddle, inspected the pitch with coach Anil Kumble, partook in fielding practice and attended the nets. In short, Kohli did all that Kohli does at a pre-match training session. Except, he didn’t pad up to bat.
His right shoulder, which he injured while diving to stop a boundary on the first day of the Ranchi Test, was heavily strapped. And the surest indication that he hasn’t recovered fully from the blow came on Thursday evening when the team management called up young Mumbai batsman Shreyas Iyer as his cover for the fourth and final Test match.
In Ranchi, Kohli, after going off the field, didn’t return during Australia’s first innings. He batted at No.4 during India’s response and came back onto the field for Australia’s second innings, where he mostly stood at slips. With the perceived mockery of his injury by Australia fuelling further acrimony between the two teams, Kohli celebrated David Warner’s wicket triumphantly on Day Four by repeatedly thumping his shoulder. But when the adrenaline subsided, he was seen grimacing and clutching it in pain.
On Thursday, during the fielding drills, he threw only underarm before skipping the batting session.
While Iyer’s inclusion may just be a contingency plan, it remains to be seen how much chance the team management would want to take on their captain’s shoulder. True, an important Test series hangs in balance — and the team needs him more than ever — but given the looming IPL workload and the subsequent Champions Trophy, would India be inclined to risk it?

For Iyer, meanwhile, this call-up – even if it’s a back-up call-up – is a due reward. His 725 runs in the last Ranji Trophy season were followed by a hundred against the visiting Bangladeshis in Hyderabad and a double hundred against the Australians in Mumbai. He will join the team on Friday.

The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns official for WWE WrestleMania 33

From his WWE debut in 1990 through his legendary unbeaten streak, few superstars -- if any -- are as synonymous with WrestleMania as The Undertaker.
“The Deadman,” who turns 52 later this month, has officially booked his 25th match at the “Showcase of the Immortals,” when he faces Roman Reigns in a singles match at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida. WWE on Monday made the announcement official for the April 2 match.
Seeds for the match appeared to be planted at the Royal Rumble in January when The Undertaker entered at No. 29 and was eliminated by Reigns, who came in at No. 30. The feud escalated during last week’s episode of Raw when “The Phenom” interrupted a potential match in the main event slot between Reigns and Braun Strowman by crashing the party with his iconic ring entrance.
After Strowman stepped away to avoid a confrontation, Reigns entered the ring to boos before telling The Undertaker to mind his business. The resulting chokeslam on Reigns set the Chicago crowd on fire.
The placement opposite Reigns at WrestleMania will be another high-profile assignment for Taker, who saw his historic WrestleMania unbeaten streak come to an end at 21 matches against Brock Lesnar in 2014. The showdown also presents an opportunity to provide Reigns with the kind of rub that no other superstar can.
Reigns, 31, has competed in the main event of the last two WrestleMania cards, including a victory over Triple H last year to begin his third reign with the WWE championship. But despite being pushed as the company’s top babyface, Reigns continues to be lustily booed by at least half of the crowd at shows due in large part to what some fans feel is a concerted effort by WWE to put him over.
If the kickoff to his feud with The Undertaker, who is beloved despite straddling the line between face and heel, is any indication, the pairing gives WWE the opportunity to present Reigns as the “bad guy” in the feud without actually needing to turn him heel, which the company has resisted.
The Undertaker has competed in every WrestleMania for which he’s healthy, missing only WrestleMania X (1994) and WrestleMania 2000 due to injury. Hes defeated 18 different superstars during his 21-match streak and rebounded from the loss to Lesnar by defeating Bray Wyatt and Shane McMahon, respectively, over the last two years.

SUPER HERO: KAPIL DEV

Kapil Dev Ramlal Nikhanj born 6 January 1959), better known as Kapil Dev, is a former Indian cricketer, often considered one of the greatest cricketers of India.

He captained the Indian cricket team which won the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Named by Wisden as the Indian Cricketer of the Century in 2002, Kapil Dev is considered as one of the greatest all-rounders of all time. He was also India's national cricket coach for 10 months between October 1999 and August 2000.

Kapil was a right-arm pace bowler noted for his graceful action and potent outswinger, and was India's main strike bowler for most of his career. He also developed a fine inswinging yorker during the 1980s, which he used very effectively against tail-enders. As a batsman, he was a natural striker of the ball who could hook and drive effectively. A naturally aggressive player, he often helped India in difficult situations by taking the attack to the opposition. Nicknamed The Haryana Hurricane, he represented the Haryana cricket team in domestic cricket.[3] He retired in 1994, holding the world record for the most number of wickets taken in Test cricket, a record subsequently broken by Courtney Walsh in 2000. At the time, he was also India's highest wicket taker in both major forms of cricket, Tests and ODIs. He is the only player in the history of cricket to have taken more than 400 wickets (434 wickets) and scored more than 5,000 runs in Tests, making him one of the greatest all-rounders to have played the game. On 8 March 2010, Kapil Dev was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.

Considered to be one of the greatest cricketing all-rounders of all time, Kapil Dev is a former Indian cricketer best known for leading his team to a World Cup victory in 1983. Confident, charismatic and highly skilled, he was the Indian team’s main strike bowler for the major part of his career. During his heydays he used to bamboozle batsmen with his prodigious swing. Dev was great not just with the ball; he was equally talented with the bat too. An expert at hooking and driving, he often provided India with the crucial runs needed to win a match even if the top-order failed to score. Born into a middle-class family in Haryana he became interested in cricket at a young age. He played for the Haryana cricket team at the beginning of his career eventually making his way into the national team, thanks to his aggressive play and high energy level. He cemented his place in the Indian team with his impressive performances and was soon made the captain. It was under his leadership that India went on to win the 1983 World Cup in spite of being the underdogs.
